2,200 Acre Development Thomas Ranch Coming to the Lake Travis Area

The Lake Travis area will soon be welcoming  the nature infused community of Thomas Ranch.

Coming soon to the Western Travis County area will be a new 2,200 acre development by the name of Thomas Ranch.   Plans for this new community are to keep the natural preserve of the Hill Country as its backdrop. This will be ideal for homeowners that thrive on the outdoor lifestyle.

The community of Thomas Ranch is slated to have approximately 3,300 homes and will include restaurants, a town square, shops, a community garden and more.  Thomas Ranch will be situated off Texas 71 and Paleface Ranch Road.  This will allow for the community to not only have access to Lake Travis, but the Perdernales River as well.

It is estimated that construction will start on the new community once preliminary plats for the first sections are completed this year, setting the time line for home building to begin in 2019. 

Being described as the “Next Hill Country Town” Thomas Ranch will take between 15-20 years to develop and is expected to have a population of 6,000 to 10,000 residents.
