Although the Bee Cave region has actively seen homes rising along its landscape since the mid-1800s, Bee Cave became officially incorporated in 1987. Bee Cave is governed by a mayor and five Council Members. Bee Cave is positioning itself as a prestigious lifestyle destination with its development of the Hill Country Galleria – an upscale shopping district that includes great restaurants and a movie theater.
